I typically prefer to drive when traveling for events, as it allows me to transport quilts, patterns, and teaching supplies with ease. However, if the engagement is limited to a presentation—such as a lecture or slideshow—I’m happy to consider flying if that proves more practical.

Travel Reimbursement Requirements: 

 

Less than 200 miles round trip:

• Mileage reimbursement @ $0.70 per mile

More than 200 miles round trip: 

• Mileage reimbursement @ $0.70 per mile

• Hotel or AirBNB stay for the night (to be discussed depending on timing of presentation/workshop)

Multi-Day workshops/retreats:

• Mileage reimbursement @ $0.70 per mile

• Stay at retreat center (preferably a single room) or hotel/AirBNB

• $20 per day meal allowance unless meals are provided
